SUCCESS Story ... Turned out to be a LIE ... replying to the SUCCESS Story earlier I posted ... After one week of updating my phone with a factory reset, apparently I never rebooted my phone since. During this week my S9+ was working like a charm and I had no problems with it. Today I had to reboot and things went back to the same old way (borken apps, network issues...) after the major update to Andriod 9.0 (Pie). I received a minor update today from on my phone and I was hoping some of the bugs are resolved, but apparently NOT ... Ohhh Samsung, Give me a break. I never thought I would go back to my S7, but I have to now. Frustrated Samsung Customer!!

SUCCESS Story!! After upgradeing Android 9 (Pie), many things broke: - Amazon, Ebay, Yahoo weather, Yahoo finance, and bank apps won't load or complain either the date/time is wrong or can't connect to the network. I've tried several things to fix the problem by connecting to WiFi only, carrier network only (no luck), reset networking, clear cache and data (no luck). I've tried things people in this thread to do with no luck. So I gave up and I was ready to RMA my phone (S9+) to Samsung which I have already return label for that. I factory reset my phone and installed everything from scratch. I must report that the things didn't work before are working in the past 4 hours and I'm happy about that. If that change by tomorrow then I'll report back. I agree with some of the folks here, that upgrades shouldn't break the functionality of the phone and you don't have to factory reset the phone for a major update. That is very stupid and frustrating. I'm still an Andoid fan!
