Hmm, I wont give permission or let anyone work on my personal phone remotely, not even the samsung technical support. this update is already very very shady so why will i furthermore trust them with another process ? Will the fix put back the FEATURES we LOST ? NO....so im not gonna bother doing that nor should anyone coz it means we are settling for sort of a consolation via a fix that is still ***** to begin with. We should do the class action lawsuit, someone is already volunteering to submit it. Calling that 1-800 ____ number is also useless i think. We can only make a considerable impact on this whole FRAUDULENT DOWNGRADE UPDATE ( isnt ''downgrade update'' nonsensical in and of itself but this is the fact of the matter, unfortunately, coz this update is really IN ESSENCE a DOWNGRADE  ) and get them to listen to us EXISTING CUSTOMERS and take our issues VERY SERIOUSLY by going ahead with a class action lawsuit ?  Thanks to some of the people here though, suggesting downloads etc, i know you guys mean well but WE shouldnt be in this position of resorting to third party downloads because WE did not cause THIS PROBLEM to our phones, why should we be running around looking for a fix ? @brotes7 @maxozone   Check out Consumers Guarantees Act. This act provides lawful actions consumers can resort to if something goes wrong with the product "after purchase". That act should be our point of reference for us to start maybe a class action lawsuit ? We bought a phone not just because we want it to work for calls and texts but also most importantly because of its FEATURES so if they are going to take away the very features and purpose we bought this phone for AFTER the purchase (which differentiates this phone from other brands and makes it UNIQUE), then essentially, the UPDATE IS FRAUDULENT ? They cant DOWNGRADE a product after the purchase coz that is FRAUD ? we need legal advice from citizens advice bureau LOL. This is a very strange move done by SAMSUNG, baffles me why they would do this. Surely, they should not want to lose the trust and loyalty of their EXISTING customers if they are SENSIBLE. i  have lost the feature on the navigation bar where if you double tap the small icon the bar gets hidden and i dont also have the option to change to color of the bar. does anyone have this feature still on ? just making sure this was also one of the awful changes that has been made ... View more
