These S-pens have been breaking at the EXACT same location going back to the Note 5. I've got a 15 month old Note 8 and I've had 5 broken s-pens and not one of them broke with anything other than light usage, with many breaking withing 2 months. I am very willing to join a class-action lawsuit as there's NO clearer evidence of either a design or manufacturing process, BOTH fall under Samsung's responsibility. At $30 a pop, this faulty design/manufacturing failure makes the phone excessively expensive and undesirable. For Samsung to pretend this is not their failure, and to cost their loyal customer base so much money, I'm in $150 having broken 5 Samsung S-pens in 15 monthgs, is inexcusable.
