I've got a 15 month old Note 8 and I've had 5 broken s-pens and not one of them broke with anything other than light usage, with many breaking withing 2 months. I am very willing to join a class-action lawsuit as there's NO clearer evidence of either a design or manufacturing process, BOTH fall under Samsung's responsibility. At $30 a pop, this faulty design/manufacturing failure makes the phone excessively expensive and undesirable. For Samsung to pretend this is not their failure, and to cost their loyal customer base so much money, I'm in $150 having broken 5 Samsung S-pens in 15 monthgs, is inexcusable. Dude when you take the s-pen be real gentle do not apply any pressure on the top even with your nail as its flimsy plastic it will break real easy!! (witch you know) Make sure your phone is in room temp the colder the easier the plastic will break.. if you look at the link i posted, he;s so heavy handed removing the pen! Of course it’s going to break, but when he gets his replacement! Man he so gentle removing the s-pen.. it’s all on how you remove it, also if your using a third party case on your Note 9 it makes it harder to get the S-Pen out and that’s where the issues arise from!
