That's right, if you don't see ST.2094 in gamma your tv is not HDR 10+ capable. That is the ultimate confirmation.

Well ,looking at the gamma is the only certain way to be sure that HDR10+ is possible. There is no changelog, Samsung would not disclose details, let's wait because the new update is not available in North América yet.

Let's hope this new update has HDR10+ or eARC support although the ideal scenario would be to have Dolby Vision but the folks at Samsung are so stubborn....

Well, there has not been an update for a while, I doubt there will be another one, time for me to sell my Samsung and get a Sony oled so I can get Dolby Vision and eARC/Dolby Atmos passthrough.

My tv is a 2017 QLED QN55Q6FAMFXZA otherwise known as Q6F Special Edition a 120 Hz tv 10 bit with wide color gamut but no HDR10+ what I see on the gama is just BT.2084 regular HDR no 2094 option neither on YouTube samples nor on Amazon video. What a dissappointment!

At the begginning Samsung even promised that 2016 models like the KS8000 wouldg HDR10+. On the KS fórums they discuss this issue and obviously áre very angry because Samsung lied to them. Let's hope that doesn't happen to us.

Up until Now only the mu6103 is the only 2017 model that has confirmed HDR 10+ looking at the gama options under firmware 1270.3. Anyone else?

It looks like some 2017 tv's have that option and some don't, I know that 2017 QLEDS like mine share the same firmware with the mu series. The sad thing is that QLEDS have greater luminosity (mine should reach at least 800 nits) so not having HDR10+ is a shame. Come on Samsung!

You are right, going to the gama under expert settings there is no ST.2094 which is HDR 10+ so my TV is not capable. The strange thing is that it's a 2017 QLED with firmware up to date (1270.3). Thanks for your help.

An HDR 10+ Tag is what se should look for. That is the only way to be sure. It would be pointless to input HDR 10+ sources if the tv is not capable to process them and downgrades everything to regular HDR.

Why you think tour tv recognized that file as HDR 10+ if it displayed it as plain HDR 10 what is the clue? I think tour TV took the HDR 10+ file and downgraded it to HDR 10 to display it.

They moderador keeps silent about HDR10+, I own the 2017 QLED modelo and the Amazon app pnly shows the regular HDR Tag so no HDR10+ vía streaming app. Can anyone test an HDMI port with an Amazon Fire Tv Stick 4k.
