So, I have had the Galaxy Watch for four months now and have been persisting with it, hoping Samsung would fix the numerous issues that have been continually raised in here.   We all know the heart rate is a best a gimmick on this thing  as you cannot rely on it. The steps  although better, are not as reliable as other health devices I have used. We know these  we have waited patiently for each update, hoping one day for it to be good enough.    However, there are other problems, which I would class as fairly basic for any watch that warrants the prefix smart, particularly if you have it paired with a Samsung phone. Why for instance, does it not know my quiet hours from my phone and allow me to set the watch to follow the same pattern? Not hugely smart, but smarter than me having to set this myself or wait for the random notification on the watch to suggest it should do so in 30 minutes, which is very random indeed.   How about cleverly working out your sleep? Nope, it used to be reasonably accurate  although I would often have to tweak the time I actually went to bed. More recently this is useless, saying I am going to bed hours before I do so. And can I tweak this the following day anymore? No, not unless I delete all the sleep data. So actually, it is now worse than it used to be.    I could go on about all the little things that would make this thing smart. Alas  I doubt samsung are doing much and cannot be bothered to waste my time when they are seemingly not investing their effort to resolve common problems that everyone is experiencing. Not sure what I would buy next time. Tried desperately to keep away from the apple walled garden but given the amount of issues I get with other devices perhaps that thought needs reviewing.    Anyway, rant over.  ... View more

I am guessing this isn't a feature, as I couldn't find anything but thought I would ask here just in case. I would imagine like most people that before going to bed you set your watch to Goodnight Mode. Although I typically remember, I don't always. So I was wondering whether there is a way for this to be scheduled somehow? It seemed to me that having this synced with the Quiet Mode on my S8 would be ideal. ... View more

Can someone explain to me how the auto activities are supposed to work from these devices with Samsung Health please? What I have observed   * Galaxy Watch and S8 when logging a walk sometimes shows the map in samsung health at the top but not always   * Galaxy Watch and S8 when logging a walk and the map does show, it only shows a yellow circle over the map  not the actual route   * Galaxy Watch and S8 when logging a walk it sometimes shows the "export as gpx" button at the bottom in the details of the walk in samsung health but not always   * Sometimes the S8 auto records a walk  sometimes the watch does, how does this get determined?   * When the export as gpx button has shown I hand clicked it and it shows the route correctly  so why does it not show the route map in the detail of the walk in the health app? It obviously has the details to do so   * S8 when logging a walk shows the weather  Galaxy Watch doesn't   I am sure there are other inconsistencies /idiosyncrasies which I will add to these when I see them. Hi   I have been trying to change the brightness of my Galaxy Watch but it says the Outdoor Mode is on and I can't. I don't seem to be able to find Outdoor Mode to turn off? I tried holding the home button like I saw for a post on previous watches but there is no option in there?
