Visited john lewis on the weekend - going back in 3 weeks when next in uk to get all my equipment tested by them. The samsung representative had r1s and said his were working fine...hmmm...i showed him the 1000+ comments on this thread and he accepted something must be wrong.  Well worth visiting whoever sold you this junk as there must be some kind of due diligence on them to sell products that work.. ... I don't see the point wasting time on such technical complexities as those mentioned above..Samsung have sold us a product that simply does not work - the fact we are discussing the set up in such details is ridiculous. Im away from home so cannot test, but my understanding is theres been an update which has worked for some but not for others...sounds familiar. At least it shows Samsung is in fact working on a fixdespite trying to say the last update fixed it.  This new update will make  the engineer visits all the more interesting / useful- look forward to hearing how that goes.  ... No worries, I only asked as I had a reply from Samsung last week saying a home test was being conducted over the weekend (which I assumed was you) : 'I am of course disappointed to learn of your experience, and as you understand our department has been in communication with another member of the Samsung community with regard to this case. At this time, our position would be that the most recent update has yielded positive results in our AV department lab tests, and that the grouping of products within their tests are working to specification. We are awaiting the results of home tests over this weekend from our customer within the community, and following this we hope to be in a position to advise further.   I will return to you following the weekend to discuss any further support we can provide.
