I thought all was well with the One UI on Galaxy Watch....however today on an hour and a half bike ride the heart flatlined after 15 minutes until 30 minutes, then again at about 40 minutes, then it went int pause and would come out of it. So an hour and a half ride shows as 49 minutes although the total time was from 7:35 to 8:57! I have updated to the ONe UI and report that for 45 minutes run and 45 minutes on the spin bike the heart rate didn't flatline! I also didn't get the stupid message to wear the watch away from your wrist. Is it possible Samsung has finally fixed the hear rate problem? ... View more

Just been on a bike ride this morning and using Shealth was rubbish for tracking heart rate. I switched to Gear Tracker and the problem I get with GT is that if you have the Galaxy Watch connected to your mobile phone it won't find GPS. This has happened every time I try and use it and have my phone.  Disconnect the Bluetooth on the GW and bingo it connects immediately. I have updated to the latest software. I still get the annoying message telling me to move the watch away from my wrist. Does anyone one how to turn that off? I use the galaxy watch for running and cycling, and also spinning. I use on a peloton spin bike which also has a heart rate monitor chest band. I happy to say that the galaxy watch is within 1-2 brea beats of the peloton. It drops sometimes on runs and bike rides, but is good enough now that I can live with it ... View more

that's a great suggestion and I just tried it and all my sensors are working so that would lead me to conclude it's a software glitch and replacing the motherboard is unlikely to make a difference, of course, we can never be sure. went on a bike ride this morning, after 5 minutes it stopped tracking my heart rate and didn't even track the time, which is a first! Other bike rides and runs it never makes it all the way and flat lines loads of times during the exercise. I have spent £300 on a heart rate monitor that doesn't work and Samsung just tell me to take it to the repair shop! Really do I think they will have a clue what to do! ... View more

Thanks for the update. It's very frustrating indeed, I am going on holiday on Monday and wanted to take the watch as I am training for a 10k run.  As they are out of stock I am hoping that with the new batch they will have fixed the problem. Like you I don't want to switch to the others.  In the meantime, I have bought a cheap one from Amazon for £23 which should track my heart rate and miles. I had exactly the same problem, and also it won't wake up by moving the wrist and didn't register and steps or activity. Have returned for a replacement, but Samsung is out of stock. I think they are having a lot of problems and probably holding back and trying to fix the watch. they weren't able to tell me when they would be back in stock ... View more

Same issue, really annoyed. Sent it back, wouldn't wake up with gesture, wouldn't record heart rate, didn't auto detect workouts and generally a real disappointment. Hope the replacement works! Come on Samsung we expect better! ... View more
