I paid £1799.99 (55" KS8000) and was offered £960 which equates to  a deduction of £839.99, therefore Currys estimate that the TV is worth approx 53% of the original purchase price.   Curry's are all over the place with their offers, it appears that they have no set formula on how they arrive at these figures, it would be interesting if other members also posted the offers Currys have made thus far.   As i can see it, it looks like they deduct £800+ no matter which KS TV has been purchased or the price paid. It now appears most of the retailers are starting to see sense by making fair &  substantial offers,  apart from Currys that is. They continue to only offer a refund in the form of a voucher which equates to  well over £800 less than the original purchase price no matter which KS TV you bought from them. They also seem to be offering either £150 or £200 as a goodwill gesture if you decide to keep the TV.    I won't be accepting their current offer and i certainly wouldn't want to spend any refund in their stores after the way they've conducted themselves so far. ... We need to keep the pressure up on Currys, i for one will never make another purchase off them and i will continue to alert anyone who'll listen about their shockingly poor customer service etc. I hope that someone who has already started county court action or a section 75 gets a result against them soon, no matter if some of the others have decided to accept any of the offers that Currys have made. ... Looking at some of the offers that Currys have been making to some members, it appears they're knocking off well over £800 of the original purchase price no matter which KS TV you own. I have yet to reply to their offer and was wondering how other members on here have been responding to Currys after these offers which i personally think is an insult. I'm sorry for the delay in our response. I'm sorry to learn of how you feel regarding the purchase of your Samsung TV. We must reject your claim unfortunately due to the fact that we sold the product as described by the manufacturer at the time. As it was Samsung who decided to withdraw this service at a later date, your complaint in this instance is with them. The Consumer Rights act states that the goods are sold as described, at the point of your purchase they were. Although this may not be the outcome for which you were hoping, I trust that this response clearly explains our position on this matter. I would like to return the goods as I believe I have been mis-sold.   The Samsung 55KS7000 is not as described. At the point of purchase, I paid £1399. I paid £1799 in cash for my 55" KS8000 on the 18\7\2016 from Currys. Is there an up to date letter template i could use to put a claim in.?
