I have two Samsung TVs. One is hard wired and works great. The other is wifi and works not so much.
I have had issues for months with the wifi not connecting after it had been turned off for a few hrs or over night and also no SSIDs are displayed in the configuration until I reboot it and then it shows all and connects fine till the next day.
After reading every post I could find and mucking around for months, it looks like I figured it out and wanted to share.
I have a dual band wifi network with multiple APs in the house. They are TPLink EAP245's. They are configured with one SSID and the same password for both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz to make connections easier.
End up the TV only does 2.4 so on a whim, I created a second SSID that was 2.4Ghz only and a slightly different SSID password. After connecting the TV to that, I've had no issues with connecting anymore.
Just wanted to share for those breathing thier heads on a wall trying to figure it out.
