Where to download firmware update for HG48ED690DB television?

Hi,

My HG48ED690DB television connects to the Internet, and I am able to use its browser to look at websites. However, when I try to update the firmware over the Internet it gives an error, update failed.

The firmware version on my TV is "1102". Where may I download the newest firmware for my Samsung television?  I will update by USB stick.

Hi @Leonard8  Firmware will usually be on the Samsung Support site, however I have checked your  model and no firmware is displayed, only the manual.  https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/HG48ED690DBXXU/ 

I know that this is a Hospitality Tv, if using as a Home User it should be in Standalone Set Up.     To check this :

• On the remote press: 'Mute, 1, 1, 9, Enter' (This will open the Hotel Options Menu)
• Select Network > Network Setup (The TV Menu will now appear)
• Select Network
• Select Network Settings
• Select the Network Type you wish to use

Therefore afterwards check and see if you can update, if not sorted  could try a factory Reset and/ or Router Reset.
