I have been trying for the longest to lock the web browser on my Samsung 6 Series smart TV but I always receive the message “This app cannot be locked”. Is there any way I could override this default setting and lock the browser anyway? Any other app on the TV can easily be locked but the browser just seemingly can’t. Thank you in advance.
Exactly, I have a son, and I would rather be sure that he does not have access to the web browser while I am working. Is there absolutely no way I can block it like any other app?
Unfortunately you can't, but you can just remove from main Smart Hub. Press the down button on remote, and you'll see "Remove". Tap Remove and you can find it back on Apps screen.
