View TV on Phone

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows what happened to the option in smartthings to view tv on phone? I used to use this all the time, specially while I was in the bath. Coupd carry on watching TV on my phone while away from the TV.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Have you tried DEX ?? You have to be on the same WiFi... between your TV and your phone

Hi pete and thanks for the input. No idea how to get dex on my phone. Tried play store and google.

Any ideas?

Couldn't get it my phone to find TV through Dex though.

TV 55 NU8000

Both on same network, no restrictions.

Hi @MarkMorris  Your Tv is certainly on the list of supported devices  and view Tv on phone definitely  an option on my S10 with an MU model.  can you try and set up the connection again details: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting//#delete-devices-from-smartthings    If still issues you may wish to see if any resets make a difference.
