videos file names

We have two samsung smart tv's. we connect them to a network drive. the tv show a lot of the videos on the drive with the name Stereo.mp4 or Stereo.mov or Stereo.mvk instead of the actual file name. when we connect to the drive from a streamer or an android tv (or a computer) the names of those files is correct.

can this be fixed?

I have the same problem and unable to find a fix. Were you able to find a fix for it?

Yes I did.

I edit the video file and add a name in the metadata. I work on Mac so i use Subler app.
