Dear Samsung.

why are you showing Ad’s on my Smart TV without my consent? I didn’t agree to this in the privacy settings but I keep on getting this Ad’s! Why?

Stop it! I need it stopped NOW! It’s getting very aggressive every month. Not even Microsoft windows does this without opening a web page! You are not allowed to do this. I can use the TV however I like, stop throwing AD’s on my face every time I navigate on the home bar! This includes any Samsung related products.

I’ve seen similar post elsewhere, and you didn’t offer a solution! I will not stop here. I need a specialist to contact me and remove this AD’s. It’s illegal and it’s pervasive, ugly and annoying.

I tried that and it didn't work. I emailed the Office of the President of Samsung and they are calling it "generic ad" and they say it can't be removed. Those privacy policy will stop some but not all. I get them everyday and I HATE THEM! IT'S NOT A FREE TV SAMSUNG.

Saw your message I and many others feel the same! I did not buy an expensive TV to allow this.  That universal guide icon should at THE LEAST be movable so it doesn't appear as the first AP.   Have you gotten a response from samsung?

Hi John. Nope. No reply. Samsung doesn’t care. My solution was to buy a Roku box and use it exclusively. I treat the Samsung operating system as if it’s not there and I never have to see their stupid adverts.

I don't know if this works. I am still testing this. There is an app called privacy choices. Select Samsung TV Plus Privacy Settings, Configure, List of Vendors, IAB Vendors. For each vendor untick Consent and Legitimate Interest. Repeat this process for Google Vendors.

That doesn't get rid of all the Samsung TV Plus that has taken over the home screen
