LG owners got an update recently that fixes their eArc to properly passthrough uncompressed audio, but right now the Q80 and 90s that have eArc will not do this. They will process the audio without truly passing it through.

Many of us game console owners will rely on this feature to get LPCM 5.1 or 7.1 or atmos to their audio receivers.

Please try to get us a firmware fix soon!

I completely agree.  I bought both a Q80T and a Q90T for the eARC functionality.  These seem to be no better than regular ARC.  I can only send data with 2 channels.  I need full 5.1 uncompressed across multiple channels (as well as 7.1 and other HD formats), because I bought these for my Xbox Series X and PS5, which can take advantage of the TV when directly connected.  So I need these TV's to relay the HD audio down to my AV's to process the channels of audio.  But I am so far only able to deliver 2 Standard Definition channels, and not multiple High Definition audio channels.

See images below of an Xbox Series X directly connected with an Ultra High Speed 48Gbs HDMI 2.1 cable.  When I switch from 2 channel stereo to Multichannel uncompressed, the Xbox is rejected by the connection.  If I move the Xbox to my AV directly, then it works.  However, I then sacrifice my Samsung TV's advanced features, such as VRR and 120Hz, because my AV can not relay that.  See images below.   The same tests have been done with other multichannel sources.  They all fail to pass more than 2 channels through both a Q80T and Q90T.   Firmware update please!  This was the point of the purchase.

I've the same problem with the Q800T... And random audio dropouts.

Samsung is not acknowledging this.
