I want to reset my TV to factory settings and need to enter my password to do so. I've forgotten my password so I tried the Mute - 8 - 2 - 4 - Power sequence to reset it to 0000. It doesn't work & still shows incorrect password after I have entered the four zeroes. Any help will be most appreciated.
I would happily take a look into this for you, but firstly, can you tell me what TV model do you have? This can be found at the back on a white sticker.
Can I also ask why are you trying to reset the TV?
The TV model is UE55 JU6740U. I am no longer able to get some of the Freeview channels that I used to be able to watch. I have gone through the retuning procedures and also followed the steps that Freeview suggested but there is no change. I think a factory reset is the only avenue left to me. Do hope you can help!
Thanks for your reply. I tried all of the options and none of then worked. You would think it would be such a simple thing to do but it seems it's impossible!
