Hi, I recently bought a Samsung Smart TV UE43TU8600U and I cannot get Alexa to respond.  My internet is working fine, I can connect to all streaming apps and watch telly just fine.  Bixby worked.  So the remote control interface is working.  I turned off and unplugged the telly and my router for some time and restarted it all.  Still no luck.  Please help?  Thanks, Konni

PS: my TV is registered with my Amazon Prime account

Out of curiosity do you @KonniChiwa have the "Smart Things" app so that you can manage your tv... that ways you could just set alexa as your main assistant , for well everything ,so that when you press the assistant button on the remote it "summons" alexa

Hi, I am afraid, that didn't work either.  I can set Alexa as my main assistant via the Alexa app that is on the TV already.  It all looks good and proper.  It even asks me to try something like asking Alexa for the weather but when we press the microphone button on the remote I just get the message that the Alexa server is currently unavailabale.  'Smart Things' does not work either.

My son's TV has a fire stick and Alexa is very happily responding and helping him.

Very frustrating.  Do you have any other ideas?
