Unable to change channels

I just installed a new Crystal UHD 7 Series.  Two things are not happening.  1.  I cannot change channels from either the remote control or the SmartThings app.  It is stuck on a single channel.  2. I have turned off closed captions (several times).  They will not turn off (on my single channel)

Hi there. What's the TV channels source ? Terrestrial/ Sky box / IPTV ?

Would help if you would post some pictures of what's exactly happening when you turn on / switch source input to watch TV channels

The carrier is Claro (in Colombia). I discovered that I can change channels only on the Claro remote and not the Samsung remote.  Still having the closed caption problem, but wondering if that is not controlled by Claro as well.  Thank you

The only thing that comes to mind ( giving the fact that i have no ideea how CLARO works ) is : have you tried universal remote setup ?
