July 2022, A SmartHub update causes TV to remain unresponsive to remote control input. Whatever screen was showing in background continues to show, but flashes black every 15 seconds or so. Pressing settings may pop up settings dialog after long delay, but the text of the grey overlay will not populate. After several tries I was able to access the factory reset which corrected the trouble.
A midnight update today caused the same trouble which I resolved in the same manner as yesterday. The recurring autoupdate trouble showed the only way to keep the TV usable was to disable autoupdate. There is an engineering trouble with this update. In a month or so I will update the firmware via USB to see if that works.
