UE55KU6400 Darker shade on screen top to bottom

Have this darker shade on screen about 10/12" wide have had support telling me to unplug from mains for 10 mns! Picture reset.. but all now is failing..  tried support email and no joy submiting form. twitter support not answered..Tv support says all times booked .. Model UE55KU6400     Software T-JZMDEUC-1208.2

If you go to Home > Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test, does the issue persist? If so then I recommend arranging for an engineer to inspect the TV by checking the following link, selecting 'TV & AV > Television' and entering your post code to find your nearest Support Centre: http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/servicelocation/

I ended up having my screen replaced under warranty
