Hi,
Why can't I control the volume of bluetooth from tv? If I connect my Iphone to the bluetooth speakers, I can control the volume from the phone with no problem. When I connect to the same speakers with this tv, Im able to control the volume only on the speakers. Cant this be solved via firmware? Seems like a basic thing to me...
Thank You,

Same issue. Bought new Samsung 75 in TV. There was no jack to attach my external Edifier bookshelf speakers (i should have checked that first 🤡) So the only option was to attach them by bluetooth.
They connected fine, but sure enough I could not adjust volume using the Samsung One TV remote, had to use the Edifier speaker remote. If I used the TV remote the volume numbers changed but all I got was a beeping noice, the volume itself didnt alter.
So I can either put up with the inconvenience of using a second remote, or stump up a few hundred bucks for a speaker I can connect with HDMI or optical. Sorry if similar post appears twice, cant see the original one I posted.
Note, a friend of mine reckons he has a small device that connects to HDMI and converts to analog with the required cable ports I can connect the Edifier speakers to, so I'm waiting for him to drop that off and see if that works before deciding whether to buy something or not.

same issue on new samsungs like the frame.
cant control volume on Bluetooth speaker, using edifier, volume is at a set value and it kinda sounds bland too, volume is low compared to when i connect from samsung phone
had the same issue from the samsung phone but this fixes it on android, enable developer options and set disable absolute volume
tizen os doesnt allow changing this option
so l, developers how about making a checkbox for this feature on tizen os?
issue is old and lots of ppl affected, and doesnt look good for you as a company. pls fix it as it could be simple with the above info

The year is 2024. We cannot control the volume of the Bluetooth device with the remote control, you cannot do this, even though we are in 2024, you still cannot do it. we understood it. You also put an optical audio output on the One connector box. I don't understand why we cannot control the volume of the device to which we connect the optical audio output. If you put a physical audio output there, shouldn't your users be able to use it too? I could do all of these with my old TV, Samsung Q8C, without any problems. However, unfortunately, none of this happens with the new model QN700B. Are you aiming to stand out only with the screen in terms of technology? In other technologies (such as software), you are clearly going backwards, not even counting where you are. The way your technical services communicate and talk to customers is already a disgrace. Maybe you don't know, but your technical service is openly criticizing your products. You can see this by looking at the complaint records. This is an attitude beyond disgrace that does not suit Samsung at all! (at least that's the case for Hong Kong). I don't know if there is any other company that victimizes its customers this much. Unfortunately, most of my devices in my home are Samsung, but it looks like this will change soon. I also express my hatred for not valuing your customers.
