My NAS is a Synology ds218+ and the two above TVs are connected to it via a wired ethernet network.
When I try to stream videos ( .MP4 and .mkv ) from the NAS to either Tv I get an error of either "please check your network connection" or " The selected file is not currently supported".
This could be a NAS issue as previously these files could be pulled from a WD NAS. But, teh Synology NAS doesnt want to play.
Both TVs should be DNLA compliant. I have been in contact with Synology, whose support is very good. But I'm expecting them to come back telling me the issue is with the two TVs.
Any ideas?
