I have the samsung smart tv and it recognised xbox one x as a xbox but the xbox series s is just called game console, I am up to date with software etc anyone else having the issue or found a fix

Hi @Anonymous User  Just checking you have firmware 1300.3  which was released  November 2021 and if not it can be downloaded to USB https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer  https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/UE40MU6400UXXU/   

However may not be the issue,you could set up the Universal Remote again and see if Tv able to display X Box Series S.   However you can actually edit the name yourself as shown here https://www.samsung.com/in/support/tv-audio-video/how-to-label-the-inputs-on-your-samsung-tv/ 

Is there actually any issue with the device otherwise?
