Hi, I have just purchased this UE32t4307 TV.

Could someone tell me what the USB connection is for on this TV - is it intended for PVR recording or just limited to playback?

With a memory stick plugged in, If I then select a program from the TV Guide, the only option I see is 'Schedule'. There is no 'Record 'option. BTW the user manual makes no mention regarding the purpose of the USB.

So basically, has this TV got recording capability? Thanks for any help or advice regarding this.

Those are the actions to use when a TV can record to USB so it seems this is for media playback only.

Thanks. I wrongly assumed that all TVs with a USB socket can record programs. Seems like I've picked one that can't ! Looks like I'll have to buy an external recorder box. It would have been useful if Samsung had at least stated the purpose of the USB socket in the documentation ie only for playback.
