Tv Wrong model number

I recently had my tv repaired from curry's UK and when it came back the model number in the tv settings (support menu then about this tv) is different to the one on the sticker on the back of the tv but before it had the right one.
I originally had the samsung Q900R now its saying that it's Q90RA.
When tv turns on it says samsung QLED 8K but looking at the model codes the Q90RA is a 4k.
Can engineers change this unintentionally?

Hi @Nidge  if the Tv is showing the 8k verification should be fine, yes it is possible to change the model number inadvertently.  In terms of picture quality is it the same as previously.  I do not have a 8k TV  but have seen displays and certainly the upscaling is very impressive.
