TV turns on my gadgets

Hi Guys need a little help. I own a Samsung 2020 TV I think its the 6 Series. 

Every time I turn my TV on. It turns on the gadget that's connected to that HDMI. I have also tried unplugging the HDMI and it still turns on my gadgets.

What is causing this issue?

Hi @ApexAssassin  check your  Anynet+ Settings.  Settings- General (Connection) - External Device Manager -Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC).  If this is indeed activated toggle it off.  Some information here https://www.samsung.com/us/support/Anytime Net +(HDMI-CEC)

This is off. Has been off since I got the TV 3 years ago. This issues started happening about 3 updates ago. I can't remember what update it was. But definitely was 3 updates ago. Cos I was hoping the latest updates would fix this issue

@ApexAssassin  Have you tried a Factory Reset, though it may not fix the issue.

Just done a full reset and it is still switching on my devices. Even when the Anynet+ is switched off

Hi does anyone have an update on this issue. As it started to happen like 2 or 3 updates ago. All my devices come on when I switch to that HDMI port?

7 months later, and my TV is still turning on my Xbox and PS5
