TV Standard Remote Record Button Absent

Hello I have a AU7100 65. I have 2 remote controls with it. I don't like the 'smart' remote so am using the regular version. It is the version which has direct link buttons to Netflix and Prime on it. I use a Sky HD box and can't for the life of me work out how to record a programme with this remote control, can anyone help. I don't want to use the smart control or the sky remote. Surely there should be a way to record the sky box with the standard remote. Any help grateful received.

That won't work. The Samsung remote is designed to control the TV only.

It's supposed to be a universal control! Previous iterations of the standard remote had a record button.

Sorry, I didn't realise you meant the universl RC. Are you able to record using the TV guide ie highlight a program and hit select, record?

No, that only sets a reminder for the selected show.
