Can a Philips sound bar be connected to any Samsung TV.

Hi @Davy6 whilst Phillips Soundbar should be fine , Samsung Soundbars will have advantage of Remote Syncing and certainly in theory Seamless integration. They are also specifically compatible with certain features such as Q-Symphony . Depends though if this is necessary or relevant. https://www.samsung.com/uk/audio-devices/q-series-soundbar/ However other Brands can still provide a good experience, not sure if you already have the Soundbar or considering purchasing.
Anyway can see more here: https://thehometheaterdiy.com/matching-soundbar-and-tv-brands/ https://theproductanalyst.com/soundbar/best-for-samsung-tv/
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Hi Davy6,
Soundbars compatible with Philips TVs include Phillips soundbars as well as soundbars from Yamaha, Bose, Sonos, Samsung, Sony and LG.

Sorry for the lenthy reply James. I asked the question because I am about to purchase a 43 inch samsung tv and with the online reports about poor sound I wondering if my old Philips soundbar would do the job of improving any sound problems.
