We was having back-light issues with the TV with the lower half dark, but now the screen has gone black. It is possible to see detail on the screen if you shine a light on it. Was looking to get someone in to fix it but don't want to be taken for a ride. Any ideas what it might be?
Sorry, the tv is a back lite LED tv, it is wall mounted and being 55" too cumbersome for me to lift off alone. I've seen some tutorials on line about checking to see if it is working, but will need to take it down to see or wait till its dark.
