The screen goes black for a second or two then returns to normal and it happens even if the menu is up so it's not a outside source problem and I have done a reset

Hi @Dan86x,
Can you provide the model code and software version of your TV, go to: Menu > Support > Contact Samsung.
Are you using anything in particular on the TV when this happens? Does the screen go blank when using apps?

Are you getting this issue when playing games on PS4? I've got the same issue but only when its connected to PS4 source, all my other sources are fine.
