Tv randomly turns onto bbc iplayer app

My Samsung tv keeps randomly turning onto bbc iplayer when we are on other apps and pressing nothing. Does anyone know how to fix this please?

I have had the same issue for about 2 to 3 weeks, my model no. QE55Q85RATXXU, the software version is the same as listed by the first person that posted (Susan Burden).

Same issue here - and it's turning the TV on when we're out sometimes.  I have tried updating firmware and reinstalling the BBC iPlayer app, but no luck.

I'm having the exact same problem with my Samsung frame. A nightmare when you're watching the world Cup!
