TV no longer reading external hdd

Hi all.

I'm having trouble with my LE32C450E1W XXXW 32 inch TV. When I try to pla media files on my external Verbatim HDD i keep getting the following on-screen message:

"No Movie Files on Current device. Select another category"

Its worked in the past so I'm flummoxed.

The drive has been formtted using "Tuxera NTFS For Mac

The TV recognises the hdd on the source list by saying "MQ01ABD05'

Can anyone help me?

Hi

I'm afraid its stil not reading the HDD. I've tried plug and play and reformatting the HDD but I keep getting the "no playable file"message.
