Recently noticed a dark spot in the top right hand corner of my Samsung TV. There is no damage and it is always clean. I have no idea what has caused this or how to fix it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! TIA

@Squidem Let's get to the bottom of this for you. Please confirm the model number of your TV, this is located via Settings > Support > Contact Samsung. You can also find this on the back of the TV.

@Squidem Thank you for confirming that. If you have any external devices such as a PlayStation or a Sky box, please unplug these and try again.

Does this happen on all sources? If you have a HDMI cable connected to your TV, please try another HDMI cable to rule this out.

Can you also confirm when and where you purchased your TV exactly?

Hi, you have exactly the same model as us and ours is just over 2 Yr old. Ours started with one patch like yours and now it has four. We have had an engineer out to ours yesterday and are now awaiting the report.

That could be a spot on the backlight not lighting up causing a dark spot.

The backlight is a bunch of leds that shine through the lcd, if one of those leds dont light up you get dark patches...

A sharp tv my parents have started doing that... (our tv is alot older though)
