TV connected to soundbar.

We have a TV QE50Q60T connected to a soundbar HW T550 via a SkyQ box optical cable.

We can control picture and sound with SkyQ remote.

We keep getting message "setting up sound" followed by "setup failed " "do you want to setup the speaker manually to control it using smart remote.?"

We have followed on screen instructions but end up with 2 remotes.

We now have it back to full control via SkyQ remote but we constantly get the setting up messages which mutes the sound etc?

I can't help, but I'll be keeping an eye on this, as I would like to buy a Samsung soundbar for my new Samsung series 7 tv which would work fully with the Sky Q remote.

When it does work, does the Sky q remote do everything, ie. Turn on and off both the tv and soundbar at the same time, does volume and channels etc? also, when using the Sky remote for the volume, do you still get the volume sound level on the tv screen?
