TV auto-connects to Wifi when typing in password

I’m trying to connect my wifi booster to my Samsung tv, however when I type the password, the tv automatically starts connecting to the wifi before I’ve typed in the last character of the wifi password... Which then leads to the tv saying the password is incorrect (which it will if it’s missing off the last letter).

The wifi password is the standard password given by my internet provider so it’s not overly long. I just need to know if there’s a way to turn-off the auto-connect

Hey, 

I would be happy to have a look into this for you. Can you please tell me what TV model and software version are you using? How long have you been having this issue? The model can be found at the back and the software version from the TV Settings> Support> About this TV.
