Tv and surround sound

Hello so today i bought a Samsung UE55TU7000

i also have Samsung t-hj4550

i have made it so i can turn the volume up and down with the tv box 

but I would like it so when i turn the tv on the surround sound comes on and also when I turn the tv off it turns the surround sound off can someone help please

Hey @lukeyboy9559 ,

If your soundbar and Samsung TV are connected by an optical cable, Auto Power Link will turn your soundbar on automatically when you turn on the TV. If you have the soundbar connected with an HDMI cable to the Samsung TV, Anynet+ will turn the soundbar on automatically. No need to reach for the soundbar remote every time you want to watch TV! i have my tv connected via optical and hdmi and when i turn the tv on the surround sound doesn't turn on 😞

Do you have the soundbar set to D.IN mode? You can do this by pressing Source on the remote or soundbar.

It is also annoying because when i turn the tv on it detects the xbox is not on and can turn that on but not the surround sound
