So wanted to add this to help others

I've had the "too Dark" issue since getting the TV.

I have found the Engineering Menu fix works..... for most sources

But I still have problems with the Netflix App itself, the input app is sooooo dark its almost unwatchable in dark scenes.

I have tested this against the Netflix app on my YouView Box and found that the YouView one is perfectly fine..

So not a fault of the TV, just the TV software and the 3rd party Apps...

Worth updating the firmware to the latest 1302. Made a big difference for me.

I have the same problem, called my Salesperson and he just asked me to change shadow details to higher setting and it works!

Having the same issue across all sources and apps, can't get past the advanced menu in the service settings as pressing 0 four times seems to no longer work to make the 2d picture menu appear anymore. utterly stuck and the device is almost unusably dim. does anyone have a decent solution to this? at my wits' end here
