The Frame TV Bubbles on screen

I just installed my "The Frame" tv and notices small bubbles on the screen. I can't wipe them off with a micro fiber cloth. They are only noticeable when the tv is off. Is it a defect?

Silly question, but have you removed the protective film of the screen?
