The frame PVR uk

  • Hi there. I have a frame 32 2020 model QE32LS03.  I see that this model does not permit an external HDD to be used for "timeshift" or PVR mode.
  • My question - can this be changed by using a different OneConnect box? Why would this feature be disabled with the smaller screen

I had "assumed" that pausing live tv was a standard feature on today's smart TVs. I'd appreciate some thoughts this from the community.

It's the pause and rewind live tv feature that I use most. Catch up and streaming services mean that I rarely find the need to use the record and play later capabilities.

Thanks for that insight. Oh well - never mind....

No, the hardware has to be present in the TV for this. It hasn't been disabled as it doesn't support PVR functionality because of the hardware.

Not all TV support this feature, not just Samsung. TBH the main drawback is you cannot schedule future recordings so quite restricted.
