Suitable HDD for Timeshift function

Hi. I have a new Q50Q65 TV and want a HDD to utilise the timeshift function. Does anyone have one they can recommend specifically for this purpose please?

Does the manual say anything about size limits for the drive?

Thanks for your reply. I know it has to be HDD, spindle speed minimum 5400, max 3 to but Samsung can't confirm if any of my choices would be suitable.

WD My Passport 2TB model reference WDBYVG0020BBK-WESN would work then.

@patbarry66: If you're still not sure about the specifications for the external hard drive, please confirm the full model number of the TV, located on the sticker on the back of the device, or in Settings > Support > About This TV, and I will look into this further for you.

@patbarry66: For your model, it is recommended to use a USB hard disk that supports USB 2.0 or later and 5,400 rpm or higher. RAID-type USB hard drives, along with USB memory sticks and flash drives, are not supported. For further clarity, please consult page 153 of the user manual.
