Sudden burning smell old TV

This afternoon, top left of my lovely Samsung felt hot.  Smelled as though burning.  Love my TV though old.  Eyes can’t cope with large, new ones.  Have turned it off.

Best to leave it unpluged
If hot and burning smell
And perhaps get an
Engineer to check it
And see if worth repairing

Problems being recognised. Had to set up new account. Have send PM.

Got engineer.  Transformer burnt out. Now other TV keeps turning off. He'll look at that when he fits new parts next week. It's all go.
