Struggling to get connection via HDMI for PS5 and Virgin box with new RU7100 TV

Firstly the HDMI attachments didnt fit into the port very well.

Now we can see that they are picked up but TV is not recognising the device, just says check the power!

Have tried customer services but no use, just asked me to send photos - any suggestions out there??

The bottom picture does not look like a hdmi port to me

Is that the hdmi before or after youve plugged it in
