Standby light

Was watching my tv and then it suddenly turned off. Now the standby keeps flicking on and off and the screen flicks between black and blue but will not turn on. Any ideas thank you

@Wayne84: Please can you confirm the model number of the TV, located on the sticker on the back of the device? In the meantime, please try unplugging the device at the wall for around 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on to see if this resolves the issue.

Hi Andrew thanks for replying model no is UE49KU6500UXXU it worked yesterday for about 4 hours after I’ve not used it for nearly a year thinking it was broke, it worked then just turned off and now the standby flicks on and off as of the tv is trying to turn on but can’t

@Wayne84: It does sound as though there's a fault with the TV, unfortunately. Is this the only TV in your household? If so then please check the following link, select 'TV & AV > Television' and enter your post code to find details of your nearest Support Centre, who you can contact for further support. Please be aware that Samsung are currently supporting essential repairs only as per government advice, therefore you may need to wait until lock down restrictions have been lifted to get an engineer out to you.
