Hey there I have samsung tv:

Model UE55AU8072U ( https://www.samsung.com/rs/support/model/UE55AU8072UXXH/ )
and I have noticed that when I uninstall spotify from tv after I turn off and turn on it gets installed again.

I have repeated this like 50 times and spotify installs itself again and again. I tried resetting tv and what not it simply comesback.

Support has not been helpful at all. Have you guys encountered something like this?

I havent seen this before but never uninstalled anything

Why uninstall it anyway? Even if you don't use it, it doesn't really impact your viewing experience?

I think it's a Samsung + Spotify partnership, it's heavily pushed on the Smart Things app during set up, but I'm sure it's it's only tiny in size, on my 65QN95D it's 10mb.

This is invasive and is blunt privacy disregard. If I deleted it I want it to stay deleted.

It's absolutely not, they get paid by Spotify to do it and all the other brands. I'm sure they can do it without but you'd pay more for your TV and I'm sure you'd probably complain then too.

Gurky I paid for my tv 1200+- euros not some pocket change and seeing how apps get reinstalled  after I delete them is clear to me. I am not spotify user and I do not give a F*** for their deal as it is not beneficial to me in any way, if I want spotify I would installed it if  not available. You continue to be good sammy fanboy and do not lecture me about how something is cheaper as it is not, just more money for samsung not me. I just asked if there is a solution for that particular app not being reinstalled on my tv.

And solution is go to some other brand which will NOT install things after I delete them.

I am already angry as it is due to their stupid generic support answer.

And to add answer to your comment: I would pay more to not have bloatware with such smile on my face and happiness in my hearth.

Haha, good luck finding a brand that doesn't. I'm telling you now EVERY BRAND does this with someone app or another.

Will try Gurky will try. Phone solved by switching to iPhone, now after devices from samsung I own reach EOL in my eyes or die will pick them up more carefully and if not, brands I select will be more acceptable regarding bloatware. If nothing else I will be satisfied that what I delete from device stays that way and not be reinstalled again.

Cheers!
