Sound Query

My UE48JU tv is connected to a Samsung  harman/kardon  Q60R HW-60RS via an HDMI cable ARC to ARC. Occasionally the sound drops out and has to be set up again. Any ideas anyone please.

You could reset the soundbar....
Power on the soundbar , then press & hold volume up & volume down on the soundbar itself ( not on the remote) until you see the message "INIT OK "

Weird ...i have the exact same soundbar. I've had it since December last year. I had no problems with it.

If you're 100 & sure the soundbar and TV were both connected through HDMI ARC , i don't know what to tell you...
Faulty cable ?
You could connect it through an optical cable as a last resort...
