SmartThings App says TV offline but it's not

Hi folks, so I've got a QE55Q90RATXXU TV and when I jump into the Smart Things app on my phone, it says the TV is offline.  But the TV definitely isn't as we don't have an aerial so we stream everything on our wifi and both my phone (and the app) and the TV are running on the same wifi so why does Smart Things think my TV is offline.

Also struggling to connect a pair of BOSE wireless headphones to the TV if anyone can help with that.

TIA Anne

Alas, mine was already set up this way. I tried toggling the settings, but no luck.

Hello all,

Remove and add is only a temp solution. After some time my 4 frames are offline again.

How many years is needed to solve this Issue?

Why can Samsung not test and solve this?

Hi, I know you posted this a while ago but I recently had the same problem and think I have fixed it. Go into your TV's expert network settings and make sure power on with mobile is true.

Give up on this and buy another brand of TV the next time you're shopping for one.  Samsung has purposely ignored this issue for years now.  They continue to add the SmartThings app in Android phones knowing fully well it doesn't work.

I've tried all the suggestions.  No joy.  Alexa used to work with Samsung.  Tried all the applicable TV and app settings (both SmartThings and Alexa).  Wonder if Musk got involved and wants to buy Smasung?

It hasn't worked for a couple of years now.  For awhile I was able to get Alexa to control my Samsung tv with no problem, and then the app just stopped functioning.  The annoying thing is that Samsung does nothing to address the issue and continues to act as though it works fine.  An example is this forum... apparently they're not even interested to read and/or respond to our posts.
