Smart View not working on TV UE43RU7020

I have new UE43RU7020 TV and it won't connect via Smart View to my Galaxy S9+. I have 2 other Ssmsung TVs and it works fine with them. All on same wifi, all settings in TV fine, the phone sees ther tv, but TV won't allow connection. TV's external device connection manager sees phone as expected.

Hi @PaulB1675  For Tv's after 2016  it is advisable to use Smart Things, see following thread  https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/TV/Smart-View-quot-No-TV-Found 

 

Smart View will not be supported after October 5.

 

There are alternatives for screen mirroring  such as Google Chromecast https://www.androidcentral.com/how-mirror-your-android-screen-chromecast

Hi @PaulB1675,

Try rebooting your TV by pressing and holding the POWER button on your remote control 'til the TV switches itself OFF and ON.

Thanks all for your suggestions. Actually the tv was faulty, it's been replaced and all's fine.
