Hi I can log on to Samsung account on my mobile but I cant log into it on my smart tv.Just trying to download a app on to the tv.

Hi Sara. What is the message that appears on the TV when you try to login to your Samsung account ? What's the TV model ?

@sara10120: Just to check, are you attempting to sign in via Settings > General > System Manager > Samsung Account > Sign In? If so, please confirm the details from the post by @DUMITRU79 and I will look into this further for you.

All it says is I'd or password is incorrect but my login works through my mobile.

have you tried a factory reset on your TV ?

No its brand new

It might be the case , but , if for some reason, the settings are preventing you to log in , resetting the TV might do the trick
