I have just connected an RJ45 network cable from the router to the television
Plugged in one way the cable does not work - if I reverse the cable it works perfectly
Has anyone ever come accross this & can explain why its happening

Hi. It sounds like it’s a direction cable. Some hdmi cables are made that way. Basically the cable is built to transfer data in one direction rather than the majority which is bi direction.
